30 Ton Induction Furnace Magnetic Yoke
Thirty-ton furnaces show up often in replacement work because the coil is large enough for leakage at the shell to cost real power, and small enough that a cracked water pocket stops the shift.
This yoke is arc-stacked from WISCO high-permeability cold-rolled silicon steel, with phlogopite mica under the stainless cover. Copper tubes are arranged both 4 in / 4 out and 3 in / 3 out. Four to six stainless bolts clamp the stack. Coverage is about 65 percent of the coil surface.
Send the coil diameter, coil height and a photo of the water headers if the existing yoke is the part being replaced.
