Custom Magnetic Yokes for Induction Furnaces
Choose a design family, then open the furnace capacity you need. Each model is laminated to the coil radius and built as a replacement or a new-furnace yoke.
Directional Silicon Steel Magnetic Yoke
Grain-oriented sheet is arc-stacked so the yoke sits on the coil radius. Used on 20 t and 35 t furnaces, and on the 60 t yoke in 23RJ100.
Water-Cooled Magnetic Yoke
A stainless channel, tank or dual circuit holds the stack near ambient temperature. Built for 10, 12, 15, 40, 60 and 70 ton furnaces.
Copper Tube Embedded Magnetic Yoke
Copper tubes sit against the laminations and pull heat out of the stack. Standard sizes are 12, 20 and 30 ton, including 4-in/4-out and 3-in/3-out on the 30 ton yoke.
Stainless Steel Tube Embedded Magnetic Yoke
Stainless tubes replace a welded channel that can crack or weep. The 20 ton yoke and the 3 ton melting-furnace yoke use this cooling.
Vacuum Furnace Magnetic Yoke
Vacuum furnace yokes for 2 t, 3 t and 5 t, plus a general vacuum yoke and a vacuum-furnace silicon steel column. Covers and bolts are chosen for low magnetic interference.
Silicon Steel Columns
A silicon steel column is the laminated limb of the yoke. Separate pages cover 20 t, 25 t and 60 t columns, and the vacuum-furnace column.

Why a Magnetic Yoke Is Fitted to an Induction Furnace
Laminated silicon steel gathers leakage flux into the melt, shields the furnace shell from stray heating, and gives the induction coil a rigid support. Water passages hold the yoke near ambient temperature so the stack does not grow, loosen, or rust at the cut edges.
